VR Adventures Zone is one of the first virtual reality gaming venues of its kind. With over 13,000 square feet of space, VR Adventures Zone’s mission is to provide active, social, and immersive entertainment for people of all ages and skill-levels.

They came to us to market their service to the people of Ottawa and beyond. Since they hadn’t opened yet, our job was to successfully launch their business and continuously drive traffic to their venue. Today, VR Adventures Zone gains new customer every day and has grown tremendously since their Jan. 2022 launch.

VR Adventures Zone had the challenge of being a novel service using complex, unfamiliar technology. Therefore, they needed a plan to explain who they were and what value they provided. We put together a complete marketing strategy for them including social media, promotions, email marketing, and advertising.

Our approach to generating brand awareness involved creating and managing new social media accounts, which now share to many followers.

We took care of everything from graphics to copy to scheduling. All the content followed one cohesive look and held one underlying message: VR Adventures Zone is here to play!

Level up with digital ads.

Along with social media, we leveraged paid advertising to create brand awareness and generate conversions on their website.

We created numerous retargeting, holiday, and general campaigns, which were responsible for the majority of their revenue. Everything from creatives to copy, we prepared.

Although there was value in explaining the service and games, we felt it would be more impactful if people saw it in action.

So, we wrote, produced, filmed, and edited a testimonial video. This video explained VR Adventures Zone’s story and showed real people enjoying VR.

The outcome.

Using analytics from our digital ads, we were able to identify a major market segment for VR Adventures Zone to target in the future. As word continues to spread about the venue, their monthly visitors and revenue continue to increase.

To progress their growth, we’ve been working closely with them to develop new marketing materials and collateral like outdoor signage, loyalty cards, and brochures. As time goes on, we expect VR Adventures Zone to become central hub for fun in Ottawa.
